Do you like Hip Hop? Would you like to learn to break dance? Ever thought of doing it from a rope? Combining it with a storyline to create a short piece
of theatre? Attend this course and you’ll get to have a go at creating your own piece of Hip Hop Circus Theatre. You will have a chance to learn break dance, juggling
and aerial circus culminating in a cabaret style performance for friends and family. An exciting opportunity for young people to join award -winning theatre company, BandBazi’s youth circus.
Workshop leaders will help you to develop your own Hip Hop Circus Theatre piece.

Orchestra in a Weekend
Directed by Phil Mullen and Matthew Rowe with the London Philharmonic Orchestra
Take 100 performers, two directors, minimal rehearsal and one performance and what have you got? The totally unique ‘fly by the seat of your orchestral pants’
concept that is: Orchestra in a Weekend. Amateur musicians and music students will be inspired, coached and supported by members of the LPO for a public
performance in two halves: Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite followed by the premiere of a new improvised work. We are looking for 85 capable players (grade 8 or
equivalent) for the classical repertoire and 25 musicians (grade 5 plus) for the Improvised Orchestra.

This workshop will teach you how to punch, kick, strangle, head butt and hair pull, at all times safely and under expert tuition. Then learn the techniques of sword fighting; cut, thrust, and parry! The workshop will culminate with an opportunity to create and perform your own fight. A must for any amateur or professional actors or those interested in stage fights.
