VACANCIES AT BRIGHTON DOME & FESTIVAL

Brighton Dome and Festival offers an unusually diverse and exciting environment in which to work. We present both a year-round programme of multi-arts performances and an annual international Festival that takes place across the city. We work in all art forms and at all scales, from individual artists to commercial production companies. Accounts Assistant

Full-time Permanent Contract

Brighton Dome and Festival Limited is seeking an Accounts Assistant to undertake a variety of accounts processing tasks including processing of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and payroll information and to assist in the provision of management information, with particular emphasis on reconciliations.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and numerical skills, experience of working in a busy finance office using an integrated accounting system such as Sage, Pegasus Opera, PS Financials or similar.  They must also be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and have the ability to identify problems and find solutions.

 

Salary: £15,500 per annum

Marketing Manager (Maternity cover 6-12months)

Salary £25,000 per annum, pro rata

Brighton Dome and Festival is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to help devise and implement the marketing and digital strategy for England’s leading mixed arts Festival, Brighton Festival in May (5-27) alongside the year round programme at Brighton Dome including the launch of a new organisation website (September 2012). Specialising in music of all types from classical through to rock and pop; contemporary and world dance; theatre including site specific at locations throughout the city; family events, books & debates, comedy, visual arts and outdoor performance.

The ideal candidate must have substantial arts marketing experience and a proven track record in delivering audiences for live performances is essential, using both online and offline sales and marketing channels.

Deadline for applications: 10am on Monday 30 January

Two local women, Saskia Heriz and Christina Thompson, both of whom have been inspired by the work of The Company of Elders, have created Three Score Dance a dance company for the over 60's, which takes residency at Brighton Dome, supported by South East Dance.
