Company in residence

The Hofesh Shechter Company is Brighton Dome’s first resident artistic company. The company, one of the hottest properties on the international dance scene, currently have offices at Brighton Dome and are creating new work here during a three-year residency, which launched with performances in November 2008 and continued with new and acclaimed work during Brighton Festival 2009 including an education project with local young dancers and musicians. They are currently undertaking development for future pieces in their studio within the Brighton Dome venues and plan to present a world premiere piece next year in Brighton.

Their work throughout this year’s residency has been generously supported by The Kobler Trust.

Brighton Dome and Festival has a continuing commitment to create associations with artistic companies to develop and perform work at Brighton Dome. If you are interested in supporting the work of our resident companies, we would be delighted to talk to you about opportunities to help

Brighton Dome receives generous support from Trusts & Foundations who support the building and its programme. Individuals can also play their part in supporting new work at Brighton Dome by joining The Commissioning Circle supporting our year round programme of commissioning new work, which enables you to enjoy priority booking for both Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival.

You can also make a lasting difference with a legacy to Brighton Dome.
