Memories of Brighton Dome

Brighton Dome needs you!

Standing for over 200 years Brighton Dome has had many guises over its long history with uses as varied as a stable block, a temporary hospital, a roller rink and now entertainment venue. Brighton Dome is now compiling a comprehensive history of the building and we would love to hear your stories and trivia or see any photos or ephemera.

The audience really does make Brighton Dome what it is, and we’d like to hear your memories. Did you see ABBA and the Eurovision Song Contest? Or witness Pink Floyd play their ground-breaking album? Perhaps you saw Douglas Reeve playing the organ? Were you involved in a performance? Or did you meet your partner at a Brighton Dome dance? Let your experiences be part of our history.

Brand new resident dance company
Two local women, Saskia Heriz and Christina Thompson, both of whom have been inspired by the work of The Company of Elders, have created Three Score Dance a dance company for the over 60's, which takes residency at Brighton Dome, supported by South East Dance. Click here for more info and watch out for performances in the Spring!
