Access

The bar

Brighton Dome is committed to making your visit easy and enjoyable. Where possible we operate family friendly and accessible venues but may ask customers who cause unreasonable disturbance during events to leave the auditoria. Concessionary priced tickets, where available, are offered to disabled people, and where possible a range of prices is available for disabled customers. Subject to availability each disabled customer who would otherwise not be able to attend the venue can apply for one complimentary ticket per booking in order to bring an access assistant or companion with them free of charge. Please discuss your requirements with our Ticket Services staff.

For detailed access information contact the Visitor Services team on 01273 261541 / 261525 or download the full Brighton Dome Venues Access Information here.

Wheelchair users
The Concert Hall, Corn Exchange and Pavilion Theatre are all accessible to customers with mobility issues. Each venue has lifts, accessible toilets (RADAR keys in operation), and specific wheelchair positions. In order that we may offer you the best possible service and give access to concessionary tickets please book over the phone with our Ticket Office Assistants, in person or contact the access@brightondome.org address so that we may get back in touch.

Hearing impaired customers

Concert Hall
We have installed a Sennheiser RADIO FREQUENCY System which provides coverage to all areas of the Concert Hall as well as exceptional sound quality.

Visitors should reserve the units via the Ticket Office when they book their tickets. Please tell us if you require either a neck loop (which is used in conjunction with a hearing aid) or earphones to use with the pack. If you prefer you can even bring your own earphones.

Simply collect the unit (as you would a ‘tour guide’ radio pack at a Gallery or Museum) and a headset from the Ticket Office upon arrival at the venue. We politely request that you arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the performance to allow us to issue your unit in good time. We will take your details, along with a cash deposit of £20 which is returned to you when you bring the unit back to the Ticket Office following the performance.

To book units call the Ticket Office 01273 709 709

For queries on the system call our Visitor Services Team on 01273 261 541 / 261 525

Corn Exchange and Pavilion Theatre
The Corn Exchange and the Pavilion Theatre are now fitted with new infrared systems allowing us to offer both Infrared Hearing Assistance and traditional T Loops in these two venues.

Please reserve your unit when you book your tickets. If you don’t want to arrange your booking over the phone you can email us at tickets@brightondome.org

Visually impaired customers
Assistance dogs are welcome in all Brighton Dome venues. Printed materials are available in large print format from the Marketing Department on 01273 260825.

Brand new resident dance company
Two local women, Saskia Heriz and Christina Thompson, both of whom have been inspired by the work of The Company of Elders, have created Three Score Dance a dance company for the over 60's, which takes residency at Brighton Dome, supported by South East Dance.
